L’Atelier Monceau est un atelier de restauration de meubles situé au 10 rue Médéric au cœur de Paris dans le 17ème arrondissement.

 

La création de l’entreprise en 2009 est née d’une association entre deux passionnés de mobilier d’art.

Hardouin Burrus et Rémi Domblides ont acquis leurs expériences dans les plus prestigieux ateliers Parisiens.

 

Nous travaillons pour un grand nombre de collectionneurs privés, antiquaires, musées et ambassades européennes.

 

A ce jour l’entreprise est composée de sept collaborateurs hautement qualifiés.

Dextérité, savoir faire et patience sont les maîtres mots de ce métier exigeant.

 

Nous sommes spécialisés dans la restauration d’objets d’art allant du XVIème au XXème siècles.

Chaque période de l’Histoire requière une connaissance approfondie des techniques et des matériaux.

Ces compétences  nous permettent d’intervenir avec respect sur une grande variété d’objets tels que des commodes, cabinets, sièges, cartels…

The Atelier Monceau is a fine furniture restoration workshop that was set up in 2009 as the result of an association between Hardouin Burrus and Rémi Domblides, two cabinet-makers, passionate about fine furniture.

 

The founding partners both acquired their respective experience in the most prestigious Parisian restoration workshops. Their workshop now counts seven highly qualified craftsmen whose very minute and demanding work can be summed up in three words: dexterity, know-how and patience.

 

The Atelier Monceau works for a great number of private collectors, antique dealers, museums and embassies. They specialize in restoring fine art and furniture pieces from the 16th to the 20th century, each particular period requiring a specific and extensive knowledge of the techniques and materials used at the time.

 

A combination of theoretical knowledge and technical skill is what allows them to carefully and respectfully work on a great variety of pieces such as antique chests, cabinets, seats, wall clocks, etc.
